Oakland Asian Cultural Center, 388 9th Street, This is a free community event where donations are appreciated: $3 suggested for youth, and $5-$20 suggested for adults. No one will be turned away for not donating.

The event titled “Celebrating Our Connections” is one of the first times that diverse groups of Asian and Pacific Island communities are coming together to celebrate the international holiday.
